ARUN MATHEWS
Hi, I'm Arun Mathews, a counseling Psychologist. I help depressed and anxious adults find relief and deepen their relationships by first understanding their relationship with themselves. Contact me to schedule a session to discuss what's best for you! I hold a Master’s Degree in Psychology and Relationship/Marriage Therapy from NHCA Singapore and have been working in the field of mental health for over 9 years. I provide therapy for adults while addressing a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, life changes, couple/relationship issues and support for Personality Disorders (Narcissistic/Paranoid/Avoidant/OCD/Dependent/Antisocial/etc.) A variety of treatment modalities are used including strength-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, which will be personalized as per your need. I recognize that every individual is different, and when they are struggling to navigate life, they deserve a support system/approach that is uniquely tailored to their strengths. Each and every person is of value and so is their story that they have to tell.

Individual Therapy
I offer therapy for individuals to work through anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and other mental health issues to help them take control of their life again.
Couple/Relationship Therapy
I offer couples counseling for those who are struggling in their relationships. Together, we will work together to find the negativity in your relationship and work towards a solution.
Therapy for Teens
I offer therapy for teens age 12 - 18. Teenagers experience a lot of life changes. I provide a space for teens to talk about the changes in their life to help them navigate and grow.
Tele/Online Therapy
I offer telehealth therapy through online video chat for those who prefer to have their therapy session online. All you need is a webcam and internet connection.

FAQ
Starting therapy is easy. Simply contact my office and we will set up a time to meet. During our first session will be going over what issues you are currently dealing with. After that, we will work together to get you over adversity.
Typically, a therapy session is between 30 to 45 minutes.
This is different from person-to-person. Typically, people attend therapy once a week. However, for those who have been going to therapy for a while, they might only come in once a month. While those who are in more severe circumstances attend twice a week.
This depends on the person. Some people only need therapy for a few months while others need to attend therapy for years. Each individual is different, and It’s my mission to help my client’s eventually leave therapy and live a life without needing it.
